Can you help us with the Cuba Baseball Schedule?
Question: We will be traveling to Cuba/Havana from January 27 to February 1 and would like to attend some baseball games. Can you let us know the baseball schedule in Havana for these dates? Any advice on the best games/teams to see? Are there any night games? We will be obliged to be with our tour group most of the time, but most evenings are free and we might even be able to get out on our own during the day to watch a ball game.
Answer: The Havana baseball team, Industriales, will not be at home during the dates you requested. They play in Matanzas on the 27th, and Cienfuegos on the 29th, 30th and 31st. The 28th and 1st of Feb. are travel days. Mayabeque plays at home against Pinar del Rio on the 29th, 30th and 31st. Their stadium is located in the new province west of the capital.

Dear Beth, there are no games to be played in the days you will be in Cuba. The national team will be off in Japan for the World Baseball Classic, there first game being on March 7th. Those games will be widely watched at bars in Cuba.

The season doesn’t begin for several months, sorry.
I will be in Cuba May 10-May 21. I will be in Havana but would be willing to travel to another city to see a game. Do you know when the season begins again? Thank you!
There are some games being played during the first days of your visit. They are make up games from the second half of the season that were not played because of rain. However none of these are scheduled for in Havana. The reason is a National Team will be announced and begin practice for the March 22 exhibition game with the Tampa Bay Rays in Havana.
i will be in cuba with my family (4 of us) and i would love to attend a baseball game. i understand the regular league ends about the 4th how can i get to see a playoff game if that is possible between march 6-16. thanx
traveling to Varadaro and Havana jan 23 to jan 31 , are there any ball games in the area during these times
Matanzas is the closest,1/2 hour away….Havana is 2 hours away…..they play one another the 26,27,28 of Mar. in the first round of the playoffs

Going to Varadaro 2-9 April….would love to catch a game while there. Is the stadium hard to find and can we buy tickets at the game?
We will be in Varadero Feb 28 to Mar 14 and would love to take in a game. Where would we find a schedule?
I highly reccomend catching a ballgame while in Cuba.Great atmosphere, safe! lots of fun esp. if you get a local to go with you. The large resorts/tourist areas seem to have the top teams. Great way to see the real Cuba. I check out the schedules before planning a trip so I can include at least a couple of games with my favorite team. I don’t know why the tour groups in Cuba dont have it on their list of things to do?

Matanzas is the city close to Varadero with a first division baseball team. However they have no home games on the dates you mention. In fact Dec. 28 to Jan 2 are all holidays for the players. Sorry!
I will be travelling to Varadero Dec 26th until Jan 2nd and was wondering if there will be any baseball games to attend in the area?? Will they be close enough to drive to? And where does one purchase tickets to these games at the stadium??
If you can give some info on where would be close to attend a game and the time to arrange for appropriate travel that would be much appreciated.
