“Montage” by Cuban Painter at Havana Film Festival

HAVANA TIMES, Dec. 3 — As part of the activities of the Havana International Film Festival, an exhibit by Luis Enrique Camejo — one of the most talented contemporary Cuban artists — was unveiled yesterday at the Cuba Pavilion.

The exhibition “Montaje”(Montage) recreates significant moments of international cinema such as Manhattan by Woody Allen, Blade Runner by Ridley Scott, Memorias del subdesarrollo (Memories of Underdevelopment) by Cuba’s “Titon”, and Sergei Eisentein’s Battleship Potemkin.

This is a new facet of the work by Camejo, who is recognized both nationally and internationally as one of the artists who have best captured the spirit and visual quality of the city.
