  • Emily have a look at the December/January schedules for the following teams. Industriales for Havana and Pinar del Rio (the closest to Viñales). The schedule indicates home games which is what you are looking for. http://www.baseballdecuba.com/newsite/calendario/

  • Hi!
Will be in Cuba for Xmas and New years. Will be in Havana, Vinales and Baracoa. Any recommendations? Would really love to see a game 🙂

  • I will be in Cuba, between Matanza and Havana in the last two weeks of December, 2010. I would love to see a couple of games. Where can I get a schedule for the 2010-2011 season? Also, when I am in Cuba, where can I get reliable information for things like cancellations, rescheduling, etc.?

  • Do you know the date of starting the 2010-11 Cuban championship?
I will be in Havanna on 18th and 19th of November, and It would be nice to watch a championship game…

    Thanks.

  • No, the Cuban league will not start until later in the year. During the time you are in Cuba the national team will be at the Intercontinental Cup which takes place from October 23 to 31, 2010 in Taiwan. The games will surely be on television in Cuba and it might be fun to watch in a bar or other public place.

  • Hello,
We will be in Varadero from Oct.22 to the 29th.Will the Cuban baseball league have started? If not,is there any exibition games we could see?Would love to see a team from Havana or Varadero play in a stadium and cheer them on.Gracias,Pedrito.

  • I will be in Havana for the third week of September. We have several evenings free. Perhaps an afternoon. Will there be baseball games to see? thanks for the help. Ben

  • The dates of the finals are going to announced later today. Check Havana Times tonight or tomorrow and we should have them published.

  • Dear Robert, there are usually box seats available for visitors. The dates of the championship series between Industriales and Villa Clara are to be announced later today. We will get back to you on this by tomorrow.

  • I will be in cuba for the first week of April and want to see some of the finals….Are the dates set yet? I see the Industrales won last night. Could you please tell me a bit about ticket availability, and the best way to get them?

    Cheers

  • If we are able to attend one of the finals games, how do you go about purchasing tickets for the game? Can we purchase the tickets in advance or do we just go to the stadium the day of the game?

  • The dates of the finals are still uncertain since it will depend on how many games the semifinals series’s go. There is also the possibility of rain outs. Nonethless, the dates you will be in Cuba should coincide with some finals games.

  • When are the finals scheduled to begin? I am traveling to Cuba March 25 – 29 and I am hoping to catch a game while I am there.

  • Games 3-4 and if necessary 5 of the Villa Clara – Ciego de Avila Eastern Division finals should be in the city of Ciego de Avila, east of Varadero on March 14,15,16.
Games 4 and 5 if necessary of the Industriales – Havana Province Western Division finals should be on March 14,15 at Havana’s Latinoamericano Stadium.

Games 6 and 7 of both series if necessary would also be played during the time you will be in Varadero. These games would be in Santa Clara, home of Villa Clara and in San Jose de las Lajas home of Havana Province.

  • Hey I’m going to be in Varadero March 14-21… are there any nearby games I can catch? If so where and whats the team name??

    Thanks

  • Havana would be the closest with a near tie between Cienfuegos and Santa Clara (home of Villa Clara) for second. We will post the schedule as soon as it is out.

  • We are staying in Varadero the 1st week of March. Which city/town would be the closest for us to go and see a ball game?

  • Sorry to say that after a good start Matanzas lost most of their games in the second half of the regular season finishing in sixth place 30 games out of first. The first four teams made the playoffs. Sancti Spiritus, Cienfuegos, La Habana and Industriales in the Western Division (which includes Matanzas) and in the East, Villa Clara, Guantanamo, Ciego de Avila and one more to be decided tonight in a game between Santiago de Cuba and Las Tunas.

  • Do you know if Matanzas made the playoffs and if there is any chance they will be playing in Matanzas the 1st week of March?

  • The dates for the playoffs are not set yet. The first round should begin this Friday or Saturday. Have a look at HT from time to time and as soon as the dates are firm we will post them.

  • Hello, I am traveling to Cuba March 25 – March 29, 2010. This is my first time in Cuba. Will there still be any Cuban League baseball games going on during that time? Please let me know, thank you.

  • It appears that the night games are announced on a weekly basis for TV so you won’t really know until close to the dates.

  • Do you have any idea of the schedule for those night games, by any chance?

  • Victoria all the games in Havana are day games this season. There is usually one of the eight games played each date, but at another stadium, that is at night and televised nationally.

  • Thanks a million. Are there any games not on at 1:30pm but in the evenings that week (10th to 15th February) that you know of?

  • Game time is 1:30 pm. at Havana’s Latinoamericano Stadium. Have fun.

  • LOVE YOUR WEBSITE, thanks. The times for February games all say 1:30pm Is there any way of knowing the exact start time. Specifically, I’m looking for February 11th’s game: Industriales vs. Guantanamo.

  • I just wanted to say that I was to 2 ballgames in Mantanzas last week where they played Holguin. This was some of the best ball I have seen. I enjoyed it very much and intend on returning. Love Cuba Baseball.

    Judy

  • The regular season is scheduled to end on February 21. On the Dates you mention there will most likely be playoff games still taking place. The stadiums and the teams depends on who makes it that far.

  • Is there any professional baseball games scheduled to be played in Havana March 18-20, 2010? If so, what teams, times, and stadiums?

  • Thank you!

  • The home team is first. Also if you click on the game it tells what stadium it is.

  • Question: On the schedule which team is listed first (the home team or the visiting team)?
