Cuba-Russia boost inter-parliamentary cooperation

HAVANA TIMES, Dec. 1 – Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Riabkov affirmed today in the Russian capital of Moscow that inter-parliamentary cooperation between his country and Cuba surpassed the simple stage of exchange of delegations. In the new stage of contacts by specific departments, the economic issue will have top-notch attention, Riabkov said, reported IPS.

  • A sovereign state have all the papers to practice politics as they wish, the thing with Russia is the Theory of DETERRENCE at its best, thats why still pretty much alive after the cold war days, with time the two parties became best friends ever.
“Any socialist Left country will join that party exept thouse within the USA territory, maybe if the USA lift its Economical embargo cos they think no socialist left or any kind will want to make business with the cuban state, they would not have to do interational relations like that in that evil island, in fact they would not do international relations at all and switch to the Right at the speed of sound.

  • One of the reasons why the international socialist Left can criticize regimes like the cuban one — from the Left — is because these invariably engage in “international relations” in exactly such a manner as this example. What bourgeois regime would want to ‘do business’ with a truly radical ‘revolutionary socialist’ regime, bent on soon overcoming and destroying it..? And what truly ‘revolutionary socialist’ government would go out of its way to accommodate anything but the most necessary of economic relations with such (what should be) enemy entities..?

I guess this criticism is just “sectarian”, or “strident”, or “dogmatic”, or “impractical”, or something similar.
