Cuba Treats 25,000 patients from Venezuela

HAVANA TIMES, Dec. 1 – The Cuban medical services have benefited 25,000 persons from Venezuela during the last 10 years, the Cuban media affirmed after yesterday’s commemoration of the 10th anniversary of the integral health agreement between both countries. According to Pedro Llerena, director of La Pradera international healthcare centre and who heads the health program, during that time 9,500 operations and more than 300 organ transplants have been carried out, reported IPS.
