Havana Faces Water Deficit

HAVANA TIMES, Jan. 21 – Almost half of the 2.1 million inhabitants of the Cuban capital are suffering from a deficit in the supply of water, the provincial delegation of the National Institute of Hydraulic Resources announced. The problem has become more serious due to the loss in the distribution networks of almost 70 per cent of the pumped liquid, reported IPS.
