Isolated showers in the afternoons

HAVANA TIMES – The days will be warm and partly cloudy, with some showers in the afternoons. The winds will be variable and weak in the mornings, and in the afternoons breezes with speeds of up to 25 km/h.

The maximum temperatures will be stable at 31° C (88 F), while the lows will be between 23 and 24° C (73 and 75 F). The sea surface temperature will be 28° C (82 F).

Meteorological conditions:

The tropical trough of the upper troposphere, a semi-permanent system that extends at this time of year from the Atlantic to the northwest of the Caribbean Sea, is providing abundant moisture throughout the atmospheric column, and with this, atmospheric instability is kept high and the formation of clouds. On the surface the anticyclonic influence will persist.

The formation of a tropical cyclone during the next 5 days is not expected for the North Atlantic, the Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico.
