HAVANA TIMES, Oct. 6 -A Uruguayan group of art aficionados, Agárrate Catalina, visited the city of Havana recently, where they thrilled audiences with their region’s unique cultural expression of “murga.”

Their presentation of this art form (a form of popular musical-theatre performed primarily in Montevideo, Uruguay during the carnival season) included drama, singing, circus and other cultural expressions.

The Caribbean audience found the performance both interesting and rewarding, as they were able to appreciate the art and culture of the South American nation.
