Christopher Columbus, Havana – Photo of the Day

Christopher Columbus, Havana, Cuba. By Phillip Gregg (USA). Camera: Nikon D810

How you can participate in the Photo of the Day

HAVANA TIMES – You don’t have to be a professional photographer, just send a picture (in black and white or color), that you consider with quality to be published. Indicate where it was taken (city and country), type of camera or cell phone you used and a short description of it.

For our format it is better that the photos are of horizontal orientation, since we have problems with verticals when they are on the cover.

Send us your name and country of residence to this email address: [email protected]

  • If there are any Cuban dissidents that want to do acts of civil disobedience, one thing they can do is vandalize or destroy any statues of Christopher Columbus.

  • I didn’t think Cuba would stoop as low as the US to honor and celebrate the biggest mass murderer in US history, Christopher Columbus. He was the first imperialist of the New World and because of him, there are hardly any descendants of the once thriving indigenous population of the Caribbean.
