Cuban Circus Artists Invited to the Monte Carlo Festival

HAVANA TIMES — The circus act “Fuerza capilar”(Capillary Force) will be presented by two Cubans during the official competition at the 37th edition of the International Circus Festival of Monte-Carlo, to be held from January 17 to 27, 2013 in the principality of Monaco.

Performers Daylis Suset Puron and Daramis Blanco White, from the Compania Havana, will execute one of the most memorable choreographed aerial routines of the Cuban big tent, one that consists of hanging from the rings by their hair.

According to the Festival International du Cirque de Monte-Carlo website, the island’s talent will be performing in the European event along with other renowned artists such as the Giang Brothers and the charismatic Vietnamese duo that won first place at the Circuba event in 2011.
