Ceremonial Songs Peruvian Art Exhibition

HAVANA TIMES, January 9 – On Wednesday, January 13, at 5:00 p.m. in the Centro Hispanoamericano de la Cultura (situated at Prado and Malecon) will be inaugurated the exhibition “Cantos Ceremoniales” by the recognized maestro of Peruvian textiles, Maximo Laura. The exhibit is sponsored by the Embassy of Peru in Cuba and the Centro Hispanoamericano de la Cultura.

From fabric and photos is recreated the significance this art can have in Peru.  Distant from our interpretation of the world, Maximo Laura shows us another human dimension using plant fibers.
