HAVANA TIMES, July 16 – A new space to hear some of Cuba’s best young jazz musicians is the Acapulco Theater on 26th Ave. and 35th St. in Nuevo Vedado. Around midnight each Saturday night (although there are exceptions so call to be sure) jazz lovers have a chance to enjoy the improvisations in a peaceful atmosphere.
Pianist Dayramir Gonzalez and Habana Entrance are the guest artists on Saturday July 18. Pianist Abel Calderon and his group take their turn on July 25.
