Modern Advertising in Havana, Cuba

Luis Rondón Paz

HAVANA TIMES – Despite the negative growth in Cuba of the gross domestic product in 2016, it seems that there will be progress in info-communications and the use of new technologies.

Only a few hours are left until the New Year and in several points of the busy 23rd avenue in the capital, its inhabitants are taken aback by the light of the smart slates that promote products of the state and private market.

This is the first time in Cuba that new technologies are used for advertising in public spaces.

A report from the Vedado district in Havana, Cuba.
