What Are Prisons Like in Cuba?

HAVANA TIMES – Cuba is the fifth country with the highest rate of prison population in the world. Another report presented by the human rights organization Prisoners Defenders in 2022 highlights that more than 90,000 people are imprisoned in Cuba.

The following video gives some insight into Cuba’s prisons and how the prisoners are treated. It is in Spanish with subtitles in English.
