Bebo Valdes composes music for Spanish animated film

HAVANA TIMES, Feb. 22 — Exiled Cuban musician Bebo Valdés was the author of the music for the Spanish animated film “Chico & Rita,” by director Fernando Trueba, a story that recreates the atmosphere of Havana and New York in the 1940s and 1950s, the Madrid media reported. Cuban actress Limara Meneses provided the voice and the body of the leading actress, a cabaret singer, reported IPS.
