Castro Renews Call for Middle East Peace

HAVANA TIMES, Sept. 10 — Former Cuban President Fidel Castro reiterated his call to world peace in a presentation today of his book La contraofensiva estratégica (The Strategic Counteroffensive) at the University of Havana. “I consider that all the peoples have the right to peace and to enjoy the planet’s goods and natural resources,” affirmed the historic leader of the Cuban Revolution, who has warned about the dangers of a possible nuclear war between the United States, Israel and Iran, reported IPS.
