Clinton Says Not Out to Please Castro

HAVANA TIMES, March 2 — The objective of the lifting of restrictions on travel to Cuba and the sending of remittances to the island is not to please the Raul Castro government, U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton affirmed in a hearing of the House of Representatives’ Foreign Relations Committee. Clinton reiterated Washington’s commitment to back the Cuban dissidence with some 20 million dollars, reported IPS.
