Cuba and US Abort Hijacking of Vessel

HAVANA TIMES, Aug. 4 — Cuba’s Border Patrol and the US Coast Guard worked in coordination to abort the kidnapping of a vessel in which four persons from the island were attempting to illegally reach the United States after taking over the vessel at the Tarará Nautical Base, east of the Cuban capital. The kidnappers and the vessel were returned in compliance with the Migration Agreements in force, reported IPS.
