Cuba Criticizes Videogame with Kill Castro

HAVANA TIMES, Nov. 11 — The new version of the Call of Duty videogame, of the U.S. Activision company, would be a U.S. operation against Cuba by including a mission whose objective is the assassination of former President Fidel Castro during the Missile Crisis in 1962, according to an article published on the official Cubadebate.cu webpage. The text describes the game’s logic as “perverse” since it “glorifies the attacks illegally planned by the U.S. government against the Cuban leader” and on the other hand “encourages sociopathic attitudes in U.S. children and adolescents, the main consumers of the games”, reported IPS.
