Cuba Declares Victims of State Terrorism Day

HAVANA TIMES, Oct. 6 — The Cuban government agreed to declare October 6 as Day of the Victims of State Terrorism, in remembrance of the persons who died in the attack on a Cubana Airlines plane in 1976. The Cuban authorities accuse the United States of having organized or promoted the major part of the terrorist actions against the island, which have caused “many Cuban families mourning and pain,” in addition to economic damages, reported IPS.
