Cuba Drops Tariffs on Venezuelan Imports

HAVANA TIMES, Jan 21 — The Cuban government announced Wednesday the total elimination on import tariffs for Venezuelan products to further facilitate the extensive exchange of goods and services between the South American country and Cuba, reported IPS.

The Caribbean island provides Venezuela with human resources in the form of doctors, educators, sports trainers and other specialists, while Venezuela supplies Cuba with oil and a number of other imports. Venezuela is Cuba’s leading trade partner followed by China.
