Cuba Off-Course of Igor and Julia

HAVANA TIMES, Sept. 13 — Cuba remains far off the projected route of the massive Hurricane Igor and even farther from the foreseen course of the recently formed Tropical Storm Julia.  The projections from the National Hurricane Center in Miami are a relief for travelers to the Caribbean island as well as locals.

Hurricane season runs from June 1 to November 30 in the Atlantic region and this year has been quite active.  However, no such storms have threatened Cuba.
