HAVANA TIMES, April 5 — The schedule for Cuba’s baseball semifinal playoff games was announced on Tuesday.
The action kicks off on Wednesday when Granma opens its best-of-seven series in Ciego de Avila in the Eastern Division and Pinar del Rio travels to Cienfuegos to light the Western Division fireworks.
The following are the schedules for the entire semifinals.
Eastern Division
Granma plays in Ciego de Avila on April 6,7 for Games 1 & 2.
Ciego de Avila plays in Granma April 9,10,11 for Games 3 & 4 and 5 if necessary
Granma plays in Ciego de Avila on April 13,14 for Games 6 and 7 if necessary.
Western Division
Pinar del Rio plays in Cienfuegos on April 6,7 for Games 1 & 2
Cienfuegos plays in Pinar del Rio on April 9,10,11 for Games 3 & 4 and 5 if necessary
Pinar del Rio plays in Cienfuegos on April 13,14 for Games 6 and 7 if necessary.
