HAVANA TIMES, Nov. 11 — A national seminar began in Cuba yesterday for political leaders and economists from around the country in preparation for a nationwide discussion on the Communist Party and government´s proposals for economic and social policies for the country.
The first meeting was attended by 523 participants. President Raul Castro noted the importance of the effort to be carried out in the coming weeks in the explaining and analysis of the base document for the policy changes that went on sale this week throughout the country.
