Cuba Releases Opposition Member

HAVANA TIMES, June 23 — A Cuban court sentenced dissident Darsy Ferrer to 15 months in prison for illegally acquiring construction material but he will serve his remaining time at home, reported the media accredited in the island.  When he left the courtroom, Ferrer, who has been in prison since July 2009, reiterated his will to “achieve reforms” under the socialist regime country, reported IPS.
