Cuba to Exceed 200 Doctors in Ecuador

HAVANA TIMES, Sept. 8 – A group of 174 medical specialists in genetics, psychopedagogy, neurophysiology and other disciplines will soon join 62 other Cuban doctors working since July in Ecuador.

The program called the “Manuela Espejo Solidarity Mission, is geared to evaluate persons with different disabilities, reported IPS.

Cuba has tens of thousands of doctors working on short and long term missions mainly in Latin American, Caribbean and African countries.
