Cuban Hotel Wins Environmental Management Prize

HAVANA TIMES, Feb. 1 — The Sol Palmeras Hotel, located in Varadero beach resort, was awarded the Travelife Gold Prize by the Thomas Cook international tour operator for its environmental management, according to Benigno Pérez, marketing and sales director of the Sol Meliá Cuba division, the Spanish company that manages that tourist installation, reported IPS.
