Cuban Hybrid TV Ready to Market

HAVANA TIMES – The Empresa Industria Electrónica de Cuba has been producing  since July a TV that receives digital and analog television signals indiscriminately, engineer David Perez Cruz told the Cuban Information Agency .

To date factory has made over 10 000 units ready for sale in the Habanaguanex retail chain, and soon so will be available in other stores, said Perez.

The Cuban hybrid TV, produced in collaboration with Chinese entities, is superior to other sets sold previously on the island thanks to its technological advances.

The TV has a USB port for playing music, photos and videos, has a decodifier, allows for flash memory recording, has a time delay function, and can activate a hard drive to a terabyte without requiring any further source.
