Cuban Prisoner in USA Walks with Difficulty

HAVANA TIMES — Cuban agent Ramon Labañino, one of the Cuban Five, walks with difficulty, said his wife Elizabeth Palmeiro from the Peruvian city of Abancay, according to Prensa Latina.

Palmeiro with two of their daughters recently visited Labañino at his prison in Ashland, Kentucky, and now states that her husband suffers from arthritis that has not been treated properly.

Labañino’s wife is invited to XIV Peruvian Solidarity Meeting with Cuba which opens tomorrow in this Andean city, and where the freedom of Cubans arrested nearly 15 years ago, is one of the main agenda items.
