HAVANA TIMES, Feb. 3 — Cuba’s Beijing Olympic Champ Dayron Robles went virtually wire-to-wire to win the 60-meter hurdles in Dusseldorf, Germany on Wednesday in the PSD Bank Meet with a time of 7.50 seconds.
Robles appeared well recovered from an injury last August in Berlin, his last competition before today’s victory.
He told Associated Press: “It was a good race, I had a good rhythm, but I am only at 90 percent. I will try to get better with each race.”
The Cuban is the world record holder for the 110-meter hurdles.
