Cuba’s Raul Castro Arrives in Venezuela

HAVANA TIMES — Cuban President, Raul Castro arrived in Venezuela on Wednesday morning to participate in the tribute on the first anniversary of the death of President Hugo Chavez, the official media reported on the island.

The tribute to whom Granma daily called “Cuba’s Best Friend” is set for today in Caracas and includes a civic-military parade along the Paseo Los Próceres (Avenue of the Heroes).

Also expected to attend are Bolivian President Evo Morales and his Nicaraguan counterpart Daniel Ortega.
