EU keeps review on Cuba in limbo

HAVANA TIMES, Sept. 12 — The European Union (EU) could again postpone the review of its Common Position on Cuba, announced for October 25, Catherine Ashton, the bloc’s high commissioner for foreign relations, admitted.  The review of that policy was postponed last June at the request of Spain, whose government is promoting a new framework for ties with the Caribbean island nation, reported IPS.
