Fidel and Raul Castro Go to the Polls

HAVANA TIMES — Brothers Fidel and Raul Castro exercised their rights to vote on Sunday during the holding of the island’s general elections.

The media featured coverage of the leader of the Cuban Revolution when he went to a polling station located in the central Havana neighborhood of Vedado, where he has voted since 1976.

Meanwhile, Raul Castro voted in the town of Mayari Arriba, in the Segundo Frente municipality in the eastern province of Santiago de Cuba, the area where he led a guerrilla front over half a century ago.
