HAVANA TIMES, Oct. 22 – Former Cuban President Fidel Castro yesterday was visited by Ecuadorian Vice President Lenin Moreno Garcés, reported IPS. Fidel is the senior advisor to the government of his brother Raul Castro.
During the meeting, Lenin Moreno thanked Cuba for its cooperation in his country and gave Castro the “Manuela Espejo Solidarity” decoration in recognition for the support Ecuador gets through the mission that is researching the handicaps in the South American country.
