Little change in the weather
By Yanet Diaz
HAVANA TIMES — The situation currently prevailing over western Cuba is influenced by a ridge of high pressure and a surface and easterly wave over the central Caribbean Sea.
At high levels of the troposphere a depression extends from the western Atlantic to western Cuba and the Caribbean Sea. The presence of moderate trade winds from the east is expected between 10 and 20 km/h.
High temperatures will be around 32 and 33° C (90 and 91 F), and the lows will range around 24° C (75 F).
The sea surface temperature will be stable at 29° C (84 F).
In the area encompassing the Gulf of Mexico, Caribbean Sea and the North Atlantic no tropical cyclone formation is foreseen in coming five days.
