HAVANA TIMES – During this forecast week the days will be warm with isolated clouds from dawn. In the afternoons the cloudiness will increase and there will be showers and scattered rains, associated with the daytime heating.

The winds will be variable and weak, with speeds between 6 and 15 mph. The high temperatures will be between 32 and 33° C (90 and 91 F), while the low temperatures will range between 24 and 25° C (75 and 77 F). The sea surface temperature will be 29° C (84 F).

Meteorological conditions:

An extensive surface of high pressure covers the greater part of the basin of the Gulf of Mexico, supported by a high of 1021 millibars centered in that region. Therefore, Cuba and its adjacent seas are under anticyclonic influence. It is estimated that the current synoptic pattern persists without major variations over the next few days.

In the North Atlantic, Caribbean Sea and Gulf of Mexico tropical cyclone formation is not expected over the next 5 days.
