High-Level Cuban Military Delegation Visiting Beijing

HAVANA TIMES — Army General Joaquin Quinta Sola arrived in Beijing leading a delegation that aims to promote partnerships with the military authorities in China, reported the Prensa Latina news agency.

The agenda of Quinta Sola and his entourage includes meetings with the deputy chief of the General Staff, General Ma Xiaotian, and Minister of Defense General Liang Guanglie, among other senior officials in that Asian country.

According to the PL news note, the visit by the delegation from the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Cuba “comes within the scope of the historical relations of friendship and cooperation that bind the two governments and peoples.”
