Hot Summer Recorded for Cuba

HAVANA TIMES, Sept. 13 — Cuba registered in the months of June and August the highest temperature averages since 1951, reported IPS.  Due to climate change, during the last 40 years the island has experienced an increase of 0.6 degrees Celsius in the mean temperature, while droughts have become more prolonged and the frequency of intense hurricanes has increased.
