Hundreds Arrested in Russia During Protests

HAVANA TIMES – In Russia, hundreds were arrested Wednesday as they took part in protests across the country in support of jailed nationalist opposition leader Alexei Navalny, reported Democracy Now.

Navalny was hospitalized earlier this week as his health seriously deteriorated after starting a hunger strike in late March. He is believed to be in critical condition.
