Ibero-American Summit in Portugal

HAVANA TIMES, Nov. 30 – The two-day 19th Ibero-American Summit got underway Monday in Estéril, Portugal with delegations from the 22 member countries.  Cuba is represented by Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez.

The gathering will center on the world economic crisis and possible ways of dealing with it including a focus on innovation and knowledge to strengthen the competitivity of the region.
