Invitation to Talk on Cuban Society

HAVANA TIMES — The Cuban magazine Espacio Laical announced on Friday a presentation by Cuban intellectual Guillermo Rodriguez Rivera on February 15 at Havana’s Centro Cultural Padre Felix Varela.

The lecture by the teacher will be held at the old San Carlos and San Ambrosio Seminary and entitled “Cuban Society Today: Challenges and New Perspectives.” Open discussion will follow the talk, says the news article.

Rodriguez Rivera is described as one of the “organic intellectuals” of the revolutionary process on the island and has been highlighted over the past few years for his critical look at Cuban life.
