Japan Expands Coronavirus Emergency amid Call to Cancel Summer Olympics

HAVANA TIMES – Japan has widened its coronavirus emergency to three more prefectures, as hospitals report they’re becoming overwhelmed by a devastating fourth wave of infections.

A Japanese doctor’s union this week joined calls on Japan’s government to cancel this summer’s Olympic Games, as just 1% of Japan’s population is fully vaccinated.
