Juanes Could Draw 600,000 in Havana

HAVANA TIMES, Aug. 16 – Some 600,000 persons could attend the concert for peace that Colombian singer Juanes will give in the Cuban capital’s Revolution Square next September 20, said Cuban musician Amaury Perez, who is participating in the organization of the show.

Juanes’ project has generated a strong polemic in the Florida-based Cuban exile community. Yesterday an anti-Castro group destroyed records by the artist and burnt a black shirt in Miami, reported IPS.
