Juanes Peace Concert Moves Havana

HAVANA TIMES, Sept. 20 – The Peace Without Borders mega concert began on time at 2:00 p.m. in Havana with the group of Puerto Rican singer Olga Tañon.  Hundreds of thousands of Cubans turned out under a blazing sun.

Tañon was followed on stage by X Alfonso (Cuba), Danny Rivera (Puerto Rico), Juan Fernando Velasco (Ecuador), Amaury Perez (Cuba), Victor Manuel (Spain), Miguel Bose (Spain), Jovanotti (Italy), Cucu Diamante and Yerbabuena (Cuba-Venezuela).

At 4:40 p.m. Orishas (Cuba) stormed the stage and still to perform are the chief organizer Juanes (Colombia), Luis Eduardo Aute (Spain), Silvio Rodríguez (Cuba), Van Van (Cuba) and Carlos Varela (Cuba).
