Likeness of Independence Leader Simon Bolivar Unveiled in Cuba

HAVANA TIMES — Venezuela’s ambassador in Havana, Edgardo Ramirez, on Wednesday unveiled for the first time in Cuba the “true face of Simon Bolivar,” reported the Prensa Latina news agency.

The facial reconstruction of the “Liberator of America” was obtained through the use of advanced technologies and a range of scientific disciplines that contributed to the results, which were published for the first time on July 24.

During the Havana meeting, it was said that Bolivar was “the most important figure in the struggle for Latin America independence due to his forward thinking, the dedication of his life to that cause, and for being a revolutionary statesman.”
