Man Wanted in Two Italian Murders Located in Camaguey

HAVANA TIMES — Cuban born Laborde Reiver Rico, 24, who is wanted in Italy for the murder of two citizens form that country, is now in the Cuban province of Camagüey, reported the Italian media over the weekend.

The Telemundo 51 network stated that Reiver Rico, the brother of Lisandra Aguila Rico, who confessed to the crime and is being held in the northern Italian town of Lignano Sabbiadoro, returned to the island where he is now living with his wife.

The Italian authorities will request the extradition of Reiver Rico, an effort that will now depend on the Cuban authorities since Havana and Rome do not share an extradition treaty.
