Meteorite Hits Russian City 700+ Injured

HAVANA TIMES — The top international news item of the day is the falling of fragments of an exploded meteorite over Russia’s Ural region, leaving at least 700 injured and considerable material damage in the city of Chebarkul and surrounding areas.

Russian soldiers found a crater of around six meters in diameter, reported RT News.

Thus far, local military authorities state that “radiation in the area does not surpass normal levels.”
