New Cuban VP at Pope’s Entronement

HAVANA TIMES — Cuba’s new First Vice President, Miguel Diaz-Canel, heads the island’s delegation to the enthronement of Jorge Mario Bergoglio as Pope Francis I today in the Vatican.

Hundreds of thousands of people and heads of state or their representatives from most countries around the globe are expected for the ceremony beginning the era of Pope number 266, replacing Benedict XVI who surprised the world with his resignation.
