Obama-Castro Swap Advice

HAVANA TIMES, March 25 – Former Cuban President Fidel Castro advised US President Barack Obama to focus his attention on issues such as climate change and the situation of immigrants in that country, while he described Obama’s statements about human rights violations on the island as “foolish.”  Obama called on Cuba to release all political prisoners.

In his most recent Reflection, Castro recognized the importance of the recently approved US healthcare reform, but said it was “unusual” that it had arrived 234 years after independence, noted IPS.
