Pedro Luis Ferrer to Sing in Miami

HAVANA TIMES, Jan 9 — Cuban singer-songwriter Pedro Luis Ferrer will offer a single concert at the Miami-Dade County Auditorium on March 31 as a part of a tour of the United States promoted by Somos Entertainment.

The dates and locations of performances by the troubadour outside of Miami have yet to be confirmed, said the president of Somos Entertainment today, reported the Café Fuerte website.

It was announced that concert-goers will be able to purchase his album “100% cubano,” which despite having been banned in Cuba for its critical lyrics, has been circulated from hand to hand among Cubans on the island.

The last major concert by the artist in Cuba was on July 3, 2011, when he filled the capital’s Teatro Mella to capacity.
